Terms and Conditions

• All prices advertised on this website are subject to change at any given time.
• A deposit of NZD$800 is required to proceed & confirm your wedding arrangements.
• Payment can be made either by direct credit or by major credit cards with the exception of Amex or Diners.
• All payments made are non-refundable unless specified. 
• The final balance will be due upon arrival into New Zealand once you have meet with one of the team from Weddings in New Zealand. Or the date which you obtain your Marriage Licence if Christchurch is not a suitable pick up point.
• Weddings in New Zealand have a good reputation by putting in place a very professional and reliable team. By no disregard to any other suppliers we do not divert from this team and will not book a non proven supplier to replace someone from our experienced team.
• If booking a Simple & Sweet package, the full package amount is required upon receiving this contract, if the package amount is under $800.
• In the event you alter your wedding date, time or location once your reservations have been made there will be an amendment fee of $100. If you cancel a contractor (e.g. photographer/florist) and providing the contractor has confirmed there will be a cancellation fee of $100
• Weddings in New Zealand Ltd are not held responsible for inclement weather, if your wedding is altered due to this or something beyond our control and additional costs are incurred this amount will be discussed verbally and payment will be taken the same day.
• In the event you book accommodation through Weddings in New Zealand please note they will require full payment 30 days prior to your wedding. 
• If prices should increase between the time the booking is confirmed, and the date of the wedding, the bride and groomwill be liable for the extra cost unless full payment is made at the time of booking. We will always endeavor to keep this to a minimum for you and if there is a price increase from a supplier the net cost will be passed on with no added cost from our company.
• Should one of the employed contractors i.e. photographer / videographer  be unable to perform due to fire, accident, casualty, act of God, strike, illness, or any other reason, Weddings in New Zealand shall refund the Confirmation fee, but neither the contractor nor Weddings in New Zealand Ltd shall have any further liability. This limitation of liability shall also apply in the event any wedding materials i.e. photographic materials are damaged in processing, lost through camera, card or film malfunction, lost in the mail, or otherwise lost or damaged. In the event the contractor fails to perform for any other reason, neither Weddings in New Zealand Ltd nor the contractor shall be liable for any amount in excess of the retail value of the clients order, less expenses. (Please be aware this situation has never occurred).
• Please note courier fees are additional unless specified, and offend the charge for the courier is debited after your wedding, when you video or photos are really to be sent to your preferred address. Final costs can not be confirmed until sent as this depends on the size and location.
• The Bride & Groom acknowledge the right for Weddings in New Zealand to utilize your wedding material to advertise or otherwise promote the company.
