Date           WEDDING DAY

 

8.00 am           

Hair & Make-up Artist  arrives at your accommodation

 

10.00 am         

A staff member will take you down to Gate 1, Picton Marina, the Entrance to the Magical Queen Charlotte Sounds, where you will be meet by your wedding co-ordinator   (Your rental car is welcome to stay at  your accommodation)

 

10.30 am             

We will board the Caro Vita which is a true modern classic sailing yacht.  She is 53ft of ocean cruiser stunning to look at and fitted out with the best of everything. Once on board Caro Vita we will hoist the sails and glide through the tranquil waters of the stunning Queen Charlotte Sounds.

 

12.00 pm             

Arrive in Ruakaka Bay.  After we have anchored the yacht we will row to shore to Ratimera with it's lovely sandy beach and native bush.

 

12.30 pm             

Here on the beach your ceremony will begin.

 

1.00 pm                

After your ceremony your photographer will guide you around the beach for your wedding photos. During this time your lunch will be prepared on the beach.

 

2.00 pm               

Your celebrant and photographer will be picked up by a water taxi and taken back to the mainland.

You can now enjoy your romantic lunch in this magical location.

 

3.30 pm            

Set sail, sit back and relax over a bottle of wine while you are taken on a journey through the Queen Charlotte Sounds.

 

5.30 pm            

Anchor for the evening in an idyllic little sheltered Cove and be wined and dined well into the evening under the stars or in the sumptuous leather settees in the saloon.

 

You will have your own luxurious private double cabin and ensuites.

 

Day Two:

 

11.00am          

After an leisurely breakfast and morning, you can even take in a morning swim, we will set sail back to the Marina in Picton arriving at 1.00pm
