Walk into the Chapel as the sun sets outside, inside the Chapel you are surrounded by Candelabras; the flicker of the candles set the perfect ambience for a very romantic wedding.

This wedding package is quite unique as you will start off having your photos taken in and around Queenstown, once the sun is close to setting you will come back to the Chapel grounds to exchange your vows.  By this stage you will be very relaxed.  Directly, afterwards we can organize your romantic dinner in your private luxury cottage.  This just oozes serenity.

Time of the year to marry

I personally love this wedding package in the winter, there is the possibility of snow on the ground and the sun will set early around 5-6pm at night, which follows on for the perfect time for your romantic dinner.

I saying this I have created weddings here for the summer and held the ceremony at 9pm so it comes down to how you can see yourselves marrying here.  It does offer you the flexibility.

Hire of the Chapel

We will hold exclusive rights to this area for up to 2 ½ hrs.  This will allow us to utilize the grounds prior to your wedding for photos.

Your wedding is based on Monday – Thursday.  By utilizing these days I am able to pass on the cheaper rates and you are not required to hire the reception area at Stoneridge Estate.

Ceremony

The Chapel is of no denomination which means it holds no specific religion or has a practicing parish.  You are most welcome to have a minister or celebrant conduct your wedding.

In the package I have organized a celebrant to conduct your wedding.  I find most couples are keen to create a personal ceremony which has significant meaning to both of them.  Your celebrant will also be more than happy to add any religious content that you would like.  However if you would prefer a minister just let me know as this is no problems to alter.

Seating Capacity

The Chapel will comfortably seat 60-70 guests.

Wedding Itinerary

Christchurch Meet & Greet

11.00am - Rochelle will meet you at your accommodation and take you to the legal office to assist you in picking up  your Marriage Licence. Afterwards we will go out for coffee and go through your arrangements to make sure you are happy with all aspects of your wedding.

(If you are not flying into Christchurch we can arrange for your Marriage Licence pick up in Queenstown).

Day Prior

2.30pm - Check into Stoneridge Estate

Wedding Day

1.00pm - Your Hair & Make-up Artist will arrive at Stoneridge

3.00pm - Your wedding co-ordinator will come to assist you

3.15pm - Your photographer will arrive to take some preparation photos, please be ready prior to this.  Afterwards you  will be taken so some locations around Queenstown for your photo tour. The locations will depend on the weather conditions.

5.15pm - Arrive back to the Chapel. Your celebrant will be awaiting for your arrival, the wedding team will set up for your candlelight wedding ceremony this will take a few minutes of preparations.

5.30pm - Your ceremony will begin

6.00pm - Your wedding dinner will be pre-organized at either Stoneridge or at Amisfield directly across the road

We had an unbelievably good time and are very glad we contracted with your company – the Chapel was everything I was looking for, I got: zero stress, a really good day, and a fantastic helping hand (in the form of you) which means I didn't have to remember anything!
