This Chapel is like something out of a romantic novel, made out of local stone with an old fashion slate roof. With the wooden beams covered in pink roses it offers a warm entrance. Inside, the walls are covered in white wash with beautiful rimu pews. There are only 6 pews each side so the warmth and intimacy of the Chapel is inviting. Once you are nearing the end you can take in the views of the manicured gardens & boutique vineyard through the large windows.
This chapel was created specifically for weddings. The 5 hectors of manicured lawns, gardens & pond with its very own white ducks only add to the beauty of the surrounding area, one could not ask for better views. Lake Hayes always seems so still and mirrors the surrounding mountains.

Time of the year to marry
As you can appreciate this Chapel is very popular with the local wedding market and it is usually booked months in advance, by creating this package based on weddings scheduled between the days Monday – Thursday we can offer heavily reduced rates and availability throughout the year.
The most popular time of the day to marry at the Chapel is 2-3pm, this ties in well for your wedding dinner and it’s also the warmest time of the day.
Hire of the Chapel
When we hire the Chapel you are most welcome to stay and utilize the Chapel grounds after your wedding for photos. We will hold exclusive rights to this area for up to 2 ½ hrs.
Ceremony
The Chapel is of no denomination which means it holds no specific religion or has a practicing parish. You are most welcome to have a minister or celebrant conduct your wedding.
In the package I have based a celebrant conducting your wedding, I find most couples are keen to create a personal ceremony which has significant meaning to both of them. Your celebrant will also be more than happy to add any religious content which you would like.
Seating Capacity
The Chapel will comfortably seat 60-70 guests.
Please note this wedding package is based on just the Bride & Groom attending the wedding.
Wedding Itinerary – Guideline only
Christchurch Meet & Greet
11.00am Rochelle will meet you at your accommodation and take you to the legal office
to assist you in picking up your Marriage Licence
Afterwards we will go out for coffee and go through your arrangements to
make sure you are happy with all aspects of your wedding
(If you are not flying into Christchurch we can arrange for your Marriage Licence pick up in Queenstown).
Day prior to your wedding
2.30pm Check into Stoneridge Estate
Wedding Day
12.00pm Your Hair & Make-up Artist will arrive at Stoneridge
2.00pm Final Preparations
2.25pm Please make your way down to the Chapel (We can arrange wedding transport if
you would like to arrive by car)
2.30pm Your music will start for your entrance into the Chapel
Ceremony will begin
2.50pm Celebrant your wedding with the team over a glass of bubbles
Afterwards your photographer will guide you around the manicure gardens for
photos, you may like to go to another location for further photos.
4.30pm Head back to Stoneridge
5.30pm Wedding Dinner
