One the most amazing features of New Zealand is that everything is within a few hours of driving. One minute you could be on the coast and within a couple of hours you would be in the Southern Alps in the mountainous country. It’s truly diverse and accessible!
When planning your trip to New Zealand our planners advise the use of a rental car. This is definitely the best way to have a good look at the country. The roads are not difficult to follow plus we don’t tend to have heavy traffic flows, especially out of the city centres.
